Hej! We are The Skandi Co. and we create Scandinavian inspired gifts and hampers to pamper the soul and help you feel good. To help you understand a little more about us, we want to take you on a short journey...
Imagine yourself walking into a warm lounge room with a cosy crackling log fire, candles glowing, with blankets and cushions lining the sofas. Your favourite people welcome you in, you take a seat, sinking into the soft padding. You place your feet into your warm slippers and are handed a soothing cup of tea or lovely glass of wine. You take a deep breath in, and peace surrounds you.

This is a moment of hygge. And doesn't it sound wonderful?

Hygge [pronounced 'hue-guh'] is more than a translated Scandinavian word, it’s a feeling. A feeling of cosiness, inner joy, warmth and happiness. A feeling of pure contentment.
Scandinavian inspired, Australian owned, The Skandi Co. was founded in 2020 by Louisa Nightingale. Born to a Danish mother and English father, Louisa lives in Sydney, Australia and created The Skandi Co. with the purpose of making people feel good; bringing joy and spreading this special feeling of hygge through every product.

Committed to supporting local, sustainable and environmental business, all products are handcrafted, natural and locally sourced in Australia; sustainably made to soothe, renew, restore and relax. The candles are lovingly made in The Skandi Co. workshop from 100% natural soy wax with natural essences to soothe the senses and bring a gorgeous and cosy atmosphere to any home or space.
